Dedicated Team Manager for Children's Services
3 weeks ago
At East Riding of Yorkshire Council, we strive to provide exceptional care and support to children and families in need. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality services that make a positive impact on the lives of our service users.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to join our Children With Disabilities Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs of children with disabilities and their families, as well as excellent leadership and management skills. You will be responsible for leading your team to deliver effective and efficient services that meet the needs of our service users.
A competitive salary (grade 8) of £38,000-£41,175 per annum reflects the importance of this role, not only financially but also in terms of its impact on the lives of our service users. In addition, you will enjoy up to 40 days leave entitlement*, including bank holidays, and enrolment into a local government pension.
We pride ourselves on being a Stronger Together organization, where everyone has the opportunity to grow and develop. We offer a bespoke practice model that reflects and connects our vision, value base, and behavior as one approach to working with children, young people, and their families.
We remain committed to Signs of Safety as a practice framework, but this is set within a much wider, values-based model of practice that clearly connects Signs of Safety with our overall approach to making and sustaining relationships with children, families, and communities.
We believe that our Stronger Together approach is strengths-based, solution-focused, and relational, recognizing that the very best work with families takes place within the context of excellent, collaborative relationships.
In March 2023, our Children & Families teams and Assessment teams were awarded 'Good' in by Ofsted. We continue to strive for excellence in everything we do and are ambitious about our future.
This is an exciting opportunity to shine in a visible, well-resourced, and well-regarded social care environment. If you are looking for a new challenge and want to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families, we would welcome your application.
As part of your Reward ERYC package, you will have access to our exclusive Reward ERYC platform, which offers a range of benefits and rewards. This includes:
