Senior Business Development Manager

About the Role
We're looking for a highly skilled B2B Sales Manager to drive growth in new business connections within our target markets. This role is integral to our mission of connecting rural communities to a world of possibilities by expanding our reach and ensuring our services meet the needs of businesses in rural areas.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to drive new business connections and meet sales targets in rural areas
- Work closely with the marketing team to optimise lead generation activities
- Engage in hands-on sales activities, including lead generation, prospecting, relationship management, negotiating, and closing deals, including pipeline management and onboarding of new partnerships
- Develop and maintain sales reports and dashboards in Salesforce and Excel to track performance, analyse trends, and support data-driven decision-making
- Lead, mentor, coach, and motivate a team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Your Skills and Experience
- A proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in telecommunications, broadband, or a related industry
- Experience in driving new business growth and achieving sales targets in competitive markets
- Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and developing a high-performing sales team
- Proficiency in Salesforce for CRM management, sales reporting, and data analysis, advanced Excel skills for data modeling, reporting, and sales performance analysis
- A deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the telecommunications sector, particularly in rural markets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively
