Policy Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a bright and proactive Policy Officer to join our busy policy team at Historic Houses, representing 1,450 historic houses, castles and gardens across the UK.

Historic Houses plays a crucial role in preserving the country's heritage, providing access to art, architecture, craft skills, health and wellbeing, community engagement, and open spaces. Our members face significant challenges in maintaining their properties, and we aim to empower them through effective advocacy and technical support.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a genuine interest in heritage and culture to make a real impact in policy-making. While experience in a heritage policy role is not essential, we require a keen eye for detail and a passion for advocating on behalf of our members.

The successful candidate will be based in Warwick House and will work closely with our team to develop and implement policies that benefit our members. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - 35,000 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
