About the Role

Totum Partners is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pitch Manager to join our dynamic Business Development team. This pivotal role involves overseeing pitch processes, collaborating with senior partners, and producing high-quality, commercial pitch responses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project manage multiple panel and transactional pitches simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, providing guidance on pitch strategy and win themes, and facilitating collaboration across teams.
  • Lead client/sector research, competitive analysis, and develop high-quality proposal responses that showcase our firm's expertise and value proposition.
  • Facilitate pitch kick-off meetings and manage preparation for strategic presentations, ensuring seamless execution and effective communication.
  • Proactively conduct pitch debriefs and turn feedback into actionable improvement plans, driving continuous process enhancement and best practices.
  • Support training and development of the Pitch Team and champion best practices across the firm, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing pitch processes within a law firm environment, especially panel pitches, with a strong track record of success.
  • Exceptional writing skills with attention to detail and clarity in communication, able to craft compelling narratives and persuasive proposals.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence senior stakeholders, with a deep understanding of the legal industry and market trends.
  • Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple projects under pressure, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with experience in using project management tools and software.
