About the Role

The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join the Academic Services Department. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Music Department, including student records, scheduling, assessment, and music performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Music Department, including student records, scheduling, and assessment.
  • Assist with music performance events, including coordinating logistics and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and external partners.
  • Work collaboratively with the Academic Services Department to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Good education, including a background in music.
  • Computer literacy and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and adhere to set deadlines.
  • Commitment to a high level of customer care.
  • Sound knowledge of general office procedures, including the use of email and the Microsoft Office package.
