Community Hepatitis C Awareness Educator

About the Job: We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team as a Peer Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing projects that increase awareness about hepatitis C among service users and staff in drug and alcohol, hostel, and homeless services. The successful candidate will work closely with hepatitis C clinical teams, drug and alcohol services, and homeless service providers to deliver educational workshops and hepatitis C testing in community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement projects that increase awareness about hepatitis C
- Collaborate with hepatitis C clinical teams, drug and alcohol services, and homeless service providers to deliver educational workshops and hepatitis C testing in community settings
- Ensure that service users are referred and supported through hepatitis C treatment and care
Requirements:
- A good standard of education
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Creativity and innovation in all aspects of the job
Salary: £35,000 per annum
