Dietary Services Manager

Key Responsibilities:


    • Develop and implement daily and weekly menus that meet the dietary needs of residents.
    • Consider factors such as allergies, intolerances, and medical conditions.
    • Ensure menus are balanced, nutritious, and appealing.



    • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established recipes and guidelines.
    • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
    • Ensure food is cooked to the appropriate temperature.



    • Accommodate special dietary needs, such as pureed diets, modified textures, or restricted diets.
    • Consult with dietitians or healthcare professionals as needed.



    • Overssee the work of kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and food service assistants.
    • Train and develop kitchen staff.



    • Ensure the quality and presentation of meals.
    • Monitor food waste and implement measures to reduce it.
