Maternal Health Protection Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated midwife to join our maternal health protection team. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of women and their babies during the pregnancy continuum.

The successful post holder will work collaboratively with the Safeguarding Lead Midwife and other members of the Trust's Safeguarding Team to develop and implement strategies to protect vulnerable women and their families.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and partner agencies to identify and address safeguarding concerns.
  • Develop and deliver safeguarding training programs for frontline staff.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of safeguarding policies and guidelines.

The salary for this role is approximately £38,000 per annum, based on the Trust's salary scales. Benefits include:
