Autism Support Professional

Are you a passionate Psychology graduate looking to make a difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? This rewarding role as an Autism Support Assistant in Southwark offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience while supporting pupils succeed academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with ASD, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.
- Run intervention sessions to enhance pupils' development in key areas.
- Encourage children to engage with classroom activities, promoting participation and inclusion.
- Support pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them regulate emotions and interact with their learning environment.
- Access to regular training on ASD and other Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) areas to improve skills.
- Work term time only, ensuring a great work-life balance.
- Collaborate with SENCo, Psychologists, and Therapists for a multidisciplinary learning experience.
- Competitive pay: £480-£520 per week.
- Full-time hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
- Minimum of a 2:1 degree in Psychology from a top UK university.
- Genuine interest in supporting SEND students, particularly those with ASD.
