**Job Overview:**

The successful candidate will provide one-to-one and small group support to children with ASC in a specialist Primary provision in Hammersmith & Fulham. They will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create tailored learning experiences and promote sensory-friendly strategies.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement structured activities to foster skills in communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to develop individualised support plans.
  • Promote inclusive practices that support diversity and equal opportunities.
  • Collaborate with families and external professionals to ensure comprehensive student development.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience as an Autism Support Assistant or in a similar SEN role, preferably in a Primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of Autism and experience with strategies that support social communication and sensory needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with patience and empathy to engage with children on the Autism spectrum.
