Job Summary:
Hunter Selection Limited is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join our client, a leading Manufacturer in Greater Manchester. This role offers high levels of autonomy, measurable targets with a clear bonus structure, and is critical to the business's success.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of 3 production planners and a material buyer, providing influence and guidance to stakeholders.
- Minimize costs while ensuring on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery.
- Contribute to sales, operations, and capacity strategy.
- Have a clear understanding of the production process from raw materials to finished goods.
- Work with teams such as sales and commercial to spot trends and risks.
- Promote continuous improvement across the business.
- Experience within a planning role in manufacturing.
- Strong people skills, both people and process management.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes from raw materials to finished goods.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, computer literate.
