Job Title: Business Analyst IT Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team at VDart Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for imaging new laptops, scheduling and communicating refresh plans with end-users, updating the CMDB, and disposing of assets according to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Image New Laptops: Prepare and image new laptops using standardized imaging processes, ensuring all necessary software and configurations are correctly installed and functioning.
  • Schedule & Communicate Refresh Schedule: Coordinate with end-users to schedule laptop refresh appointments, communicate the refresh process timeline and expectations clearly, and address any concerns or questions from end-users promptly and professionally.
  • Update CMDB: Accurately update the CMDB with new hardware information, ensure all asset details including serial numbers and user assignments are current and correct, and maintain detailed records of all changes for auditing and tracking purposes.
  • Replace Laptops and Support Data Transfer: Assist end-users with backing up and transferring data from old laptops to new ones, ensure data integrity and confidentiality during the transfer process, and provide post-refresh support to resolve any issues related to the new laptops.
  • Dispose of Company-Owned Assets: Follow established procedures for the disposal of old laptops and other IT assets, ensure that all data is securely wiped from devices before disposal, and manage asset disposal in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
