Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Systems Coordinator to join our client, a forward-thinking SME manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that quality is established at the forefront of the business and becomes ingrained into every job role and process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the Quality Management System through the business, ensuring that processes, procedures, and product quality are compliant.
  • Implement relative KPIs and collate, analyze, and report on quality-related data.
  • Schedule and action the internal audit schedule.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as manufacturing and warehousing, on actions for process improvement and root cause analysis.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding any quality issues.
  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Produce relevant reports for Senior Management.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of and experience working to ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong data management and reporting skills.
  • An excellent communicator who can influence and engage.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification would be ideal but not essential.
  • Previous experience of working in similar roles, such as Quality Systems Coordinator, Quality Coordinator, Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor, or Quality Manager.
