Company Overview

SF Recruitment Ltd is a leading business based in the UK, offering a wide range of services to its clients. We are currently seeking an experienced Academic Office Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have previous office management experience and be able to oversee administrative tasks, coordinate schedules, assist with HR and Finance activities, and support the senior management team.

Job Description

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure a safe and secure working environment for staff and visitors.
  • Manage Office Supplies: Order and restock as needed.
  • Coordinate Schedules: Manage meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff members.
  • Handle Correspondence: Handle incoming and outgoing mail and phone calls.
  • Support Departments: Operate the purchase and ordering process.
  • Provide Reception Service: Receive deliveries to the site.
  • Maintain Equipment: Coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • Develop Policies: Implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Annual Appraisals: Ensure all administration team members receive annual appraisals and performance management.

Requirements

  • Strong Work Ethic: High-quality standards.
  • Good Understanding: Office management principles and best practices.
  • ICT Skills: Good level of use of Microsoft and other finance management systems.

Salary and Benefits

£31,500 per annum.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm.

Enhanced DBS Required

This position requires an Enhanced DBS check.
