Pastoral Manager

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, organised and empathetic Pastoral Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a challenging yet rewarding role, working closely with other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for our students.

The Pastoral Manager will be the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and operational lead for safeguarding and child protection within the school. They will work with families and the local community, leading on attendance throughout the school.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of children. They will be driven and determined to effect change for our families and committed to the safeguarding of children. They must recognise the importance of attendance in supporting and safeguarding children to promote their welfare and attainment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work with staff from all agencies
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Dedicated and enthusiastic approach
  • A reflective practitioner who is determined to find the right solution for individual children

Enhanced DBS disclosures will be required for this role.
