Care and Support Specialist Role Overview

At Anchor, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Care and Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in helping our residents maintain their independence while receiving the care and support they need.

We're looking for a compassionate and caring individual who is passionate about delivering person-centred care. You'll work closely with our residents, their families, and our care team to ensure that each person receives tailored support that meets their unique needs and preferences.

As a Care and Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing personal care, assisting with daily living tasks, and promoting the overall wellbeing of our residents. You'll also work to build strong relationships with our residents, listening to their concerns, and providing emotional support when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care to residents, respecting their dignity and individuality
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support residents with their medication, meal times, and activities
  • Build strong relationships with residents, listening to their concerns, and providing emotional support
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure that each resident receives tailored support
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
