We are seeking a Teaching Support Specialist to join our team at a secondary academy in Walsall. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational development of students and contributing to the overall success of the school.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with teaching and learning activities in small groups and one-to-one.
  • Support the general pastoral care of students.
  • Promote positive values, attitudes, and behaviour among pupils.
  • Encourage student participation in school life.
  • Monitor student progress and support teachers with planning.
You will need:
  • Passion for education and enthusiasm for working with young people.
  • An interest in secondary education.
  • A degree (2:2 or above). Any subject.
  • High expectations for teaching and learning.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and adults.
