Senior Residential Child Care Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Child Care Worker to join our team at Proline Care. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children living in our residential home in Lichfield.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans and risk assessments, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our young people.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, their families, and external agencies, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being.
- Ensure the home is maintained in a clean and tidy condition, adhering to our cleaning rota system and encouraging young people to participate as appropriate.
- Meet the emotional and physical needs of our young people, supporting the implementation of individual educational programs and promoting their overall development.
- Provide support to the House Manager and perform senior duties as directed, ensuring the smooth operation of the home.
- Act as a fire marshal and first aider, designated person to evacuate the building in case of emergency and administer first aid as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of care and safety.
- Experience working with children and/or young people, with a passion for making a positive difference in their lives.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
- Driving license, with a commitment to using this to support the needs of our young people.
- NVQ Level 3/4 in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent), with a willingness to continue professional development.
