About the Role:
KM Recruitment is a leading UK-wide recruiter specializing in the Skills and Employability sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Assessor and Trainer to join our team.
Salary and Benefits: The successful candidate can expect a salary of £30,000 - £37,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE (depending on qualifications and experience). In addition, we offer an excellent benefits package, including pension, expenses, and more.
Job Description: As a Residential Childcare Assessor and Trainer, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships at Level 4 or Level 5. You will also support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2, manage your diary efficiently, conduct online video meetings and training sessions, organize and maintain documentation on learners' progress, and support, advise, and motivate learners.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must hold either a recognized Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA) and a Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET). Ideally, you should have experience delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare at Level 4 or Level 5. You must also hold strong competency at Deputy Manager level or above within a Residential Childcare setting and a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum. A full, clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are also essential.
