Job Title: Strategic Communications Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Manager to join our team at Age UK. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that align with our organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Age UK's strategic objectives and communicate them effectively to our network colleagues.
  • Collaborate with our Chief Network Officer, Director of Network Support and Engagement, and Head of Internal Communications to develop and implement a communications strategy that supports our network colleagues.
  • Develop inspiring content that showcases the work of our network colleagues and supports our mission to improve the lives of older people.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Age UK and our network to ensure that our communications strategy is aligned with our organizational objectives.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar communications role with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective communication strategies.
  • Outstanding writing skills with the ability to turn complex material into succinct, accurate, and engaging copy.
  • Strong diplomacy, influencing, and coaching abilities.
  • Current knowledge of a broad range of communication tools, including email marketing and content management platforms.
