Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking an exceptional Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Cygnet Health Care, a leading provider of specialist mental health services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct comprehensive mental state examinations and assessments to inform diagnosis and treatment.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure patient safety.
- Participate in ward rounds and clinical audits to ensure high-quality care.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Fully GMC registered and MBBS (or equivalent) qualified.
- Registered on the specialist register (CCT/CESR), Section 12 and AC Status.
- Experience and knowledge in adult psychiatry and mental health diagnosis.
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, along with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Capacity.
