Commercial Relationship Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a talented Commercial Relationship Manager to join our team at Heidelberg Materials Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new customers, identifying opportunities to grow their business and increase sales revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and executing plans to achieve sales targets.
- Manage the sales process, from initial contact to closure, ensuring timely and effective communication with customers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including DSMs, to provide a seamless commercial approach and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and performance metrics, using our SAP system to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales or commercial role, preferably within the construction materials industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP system.
- Ability to travel frequently, visiting customers and attending meetings as required.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
