Paediatric Critical Care Educator

The NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Critical Care Educator to provide educational input and development activities in support of registered nurses, clinical support workers, and other learners. As a Maternity Leave Cover Specialist, you will co-ordinate and facilitate the educational needs and resources available to the nursing team within the Paediatric Critical Care Unit. This role is responsible for motivating staff to provide high standards of clinical education by acting as a role model.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Learning Environment Enhancement Coordinator, where you will work closely with the Education Team, Clinical Nurse Manager, and Senior Charge Nurses to ensure that patients are cared for to the highest standard. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of the learning environment and providing educational support to staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Education Team to develop and implement educational programs.
- Co-ordinate and facilitate educational needs and resources for the nursing team.
- Motivate staff to provide high standards of clinical education.
- Act as a role model and contribute to the positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience in paediatric critical care or a similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire staff.
