Job Overview

The Clinical Education Specialist role is to enhance the quality of the learning environment by providing educational input and development activities in support of registered nurses, clinical support workers, and other learners within the Paediatric Critical Care Unit.

In collaboration with the Education Team, Clinical Nurse Manager, and Senior Charge Nurses, coordinate and facilitate the educational needs and resources available to the nursing team to ensure that patients are cared for to the highest standard.

Main Responsibilities
  • To co-ordinate and facilitate educational needs and resources within the Paediatric Critical Care Unit.
  • To act as a role model and motivate staff to provide high standards of clinical education.
Requirements

A degree in Nursing or a related field is required. Experience working in a Paediatric Critical Care Unit is essential.

Benefits

£50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
