Job Overview
We are seeking a driven and ambitious Area Sales Manager to join our team at CPJ Recruitment. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for winning specifications through influencing architects, main and sub-contractors, providing specifications for various contracts such as small to medium sized builders.
- This is a field sales/home based position (approx. 50% home based and 50% field based) selling a high quality range of manufactured construction materials products used in the construction of residential new builds.

Our client is a market leading construction manufacturer with a European turnover in the region of £70m. They offer cost-effective eco-friendly solutions and have developed innovative products supplied to an ever-changing market.
Responsibilities
The ideal applicant will be looking for progression into a field sales role with a growing manufacturer, desiring to be trained up in specification selling, well organised with strong attention to detail, patient, and possess strong presentation and communication skills.
- You will be required to work closely with 3 field sales professionals who are responsible for selling to builder merchants and distributors.
- As Area Sales Manager, you will support the field sales team in breaking specifications of other manufacturers conducting 4-6 CPD presentations per month to architects.
Salary and Benefits
The successful Area Sales Manager can expect a competitive salary of up to £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus a quarterly uncapped OTE of £12,000 paid quarterly, healthcare, company car (hybrid choice), and 25 days holiday plus stats.
