Business Development Consultant

The ideal candidate will be a field-based sales professional with experience in developing a sales strategy to acquire new business from small to medium-sized customers across various industries.

This is a high-activity, fast-turnover, targeted role that requires the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have a new business target to hit every period and must demonstrate an unwavering drive to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategic plan to win new business from new small to medium-sized customers across multiple industries in the designated territory
  • Conduct market research, make cold calls, schedule appointments, and visit new customers at their premises
  • Represent phs with new customers at the appropriate level
  • Focus on the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of sales activity, rather than just quantity
  • Utilize the CRM system to effectively record, manage, and develop opportunities

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering against new business growth targets
  • Proven track record in a strategic hunter sales role

  • Decisive and resilient
  • Ability to challenge, respectfully, constructively, and effectively
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Security check or willingness to undergo one
