About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Development Manager Assistant to join our team at Places for People. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our region's development activities in line with our Group objectives and Business Plan.

The successful candidate will have relevant industry experience in assisting in the delivery of residential led development schemes, with good IT skills, written and verbal communication skills, and numerical skills and financial understanding. You will be self-motivated, able to problem solve and work without close supervision, and be a team player able to work in a challenging fast-paced environment with multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management of the development strategy across the region, working on a range of different projects including direct build and partner-led residential development sites.
  • Diligently follow policy and procedures for the affordable development programme, Homes England compliance, administration, and handover of properties.
  • Be involved in land acquisition, Development Appraisals, project management, and internal liaison with PfP's commercial, build, technical sales, and marketing and lettings teams.
