**Job Title:** Medical Director for Diabetes and Endocrinology

We are seeking a highly skilled medical professional to lead our diabetes and endocrinology services in NHS Lothian. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare in Scotland.

**Salary:** £85,000 - £120,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in clinical leadership and management, with a strong track record of improving patient outcomes and driving service innovation. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the quality and safety of our services, while also ensuring effective use of resources.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans for diabetes and endocrinology services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Maintain high-quality standards in clinical governance and risk management
  • Ensure effective use of resources and budgeting
