The Role:

As the People and Culture Manager, you will support the HR Director in positioning the HR function as a strategic partner within the organisation. Your primary focus will be on recruitment, utilising the ATS system, and enhancing HR capabilities to support our growth and scaling efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent. 50% of this role is dedicated to recruitment.
  • HR Process Development: Develop and implement HR processes and systems, with a focus on planning and efficiency.
  • Workforce Planning and Development: Partner with the research and data team to support workforce planning and development.
  • Training and Development: Manage training and development initiatives, including the use of LinkedIn Learning.
  • Strategic HR Projects: Collaborate with the leadership team to drive strategic HR projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR management, with a strong focus on recruitment and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to critique and refine content.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, particularly Personio, and a knack for process improvement.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for ethical practices in the food sector, particularly around animal welfare and sustainability.
