Facilities Management Leader

The Facilities Manager will play a key role in managing a range of in-house and outsourced services, including Portering, Environmental Services, Pest Control, Catering, Customer Service, Grounds Maintenance, and Service Desk.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations and contract management
  • Line manage a team of Assistant Facilities Managers
  • Conduct risk assessments and spot checks to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation
  • Act as On-Call Duty Manager on a rotational basis
  • Deputise for the Head of Facilities Management in their absence

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of facilities management with senior managerial duties and experience of delivering a first-class facilities service in a complex customer-focussed environment.

They will also have technical knowledge of Contract Management, experience in managing multiple large service contracts, and experience of managing large-scale budgets.
