High-Performing Power Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at BakerHicks. As part of our expanding Civil & Structural department, this role will involve managing and leading projects within the Power sector.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in project management and be able to mentor graduate engineers and technicians in technical design aspects and project delivery. A thorough understanding of managing project delivery to quality, cost, and programme is essential.
A key objective of this role will be to manage and deliver single- and/or multi-disciplinary projects to cost, schedule, and quality criteria. Additionally, you will lead aspects of infrastructure design work on a range of project sizes and contribute to the wider development of the C&S department capabilities.
The ideal candidate will possess an HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a recognised Civil Engineering Degree. Professional membership of an appropriate body (ICE, APM, CIHT, IHE etc.) is also required. Experience in managing project delivery and leading project teams is essential, as well as being technically competent in infrastructure design and coordination.

As a Senior Project Engineer at BakerHicks, you can expect a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a generous salary, you will also receive up to 6% matched contributory pension plan, life assurance scheme, 25 days annual leave, and flexible/hybrid working.
