Job Title: High-Powered UPS Maintenance Specialist

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled UPS Service Engineer to join our client's growing team. As a High-Powered UPS Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert support to customers across the UK, working from home and undertaking onsite visits as required.

Your primary objective will be to identify opportunities to improve customer operations and eliminate pain points, ensuring seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop strategies for process improvement.
  • Perform field service tasks, diagnose technical issues, and conduct remote or onsite analysis to resolve complex problems.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining necessary repairs and upgrades, ensuring all materials, parts, and equipment are readily available and of high quality.
  • Develop proactive corrective actions to prevent equipment or process failures, making recommendations for future prevention.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Degree in Electronics or related field, with a strong background in power electronics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a field engineer on UPS systems or equivalent electronic systems such as drives or similar technology.
  • Proven track record of working with high-powered UPS and large data centre customers.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a high sense of accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
