We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to join our team in the Sustainability and Environmental department, as part of the Balfour Beatty VINCI joint venture delivering a 90km section of the HS2 project from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and then on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.
- Job Summary: To provide advice and support to the construction team regarding environmental constraints and management issues in the Sub-Lots.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on environmental design and mitigation measures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Work closely with the construction team to identify and manage environmental risks and impacts associated with the project.
- Develop and implement effective environmental management systems to minimize the project's ecological footprint.

Balfour Beatty VINCI is a leading joint venture between two major players in the delivery of critical infrastructure across rail, transport, and other iconic projects in the UK and beyond. Our work with HS2 has awarded us a 90km section of the HS2 project from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and then on to Handsacre in Staffordshire. We will be building various structures including viaducts, tunnels, underbridges, and underpasses.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
