About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact on human rights in Scotland. As a Policy and Legal Specialist, you will work closely with our legal and policy team to develop and implement strategies that advance human rights. Your duties will include leading interventions, developing proposals for potential areas of litigation, monitoring human rights court judgments, and managing live cases. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders, including people experiencing human rights violations, civil society organizations, and the courts.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a background in law and policy, with a working knowledge of human rights, particularly those of children in a domestic context. Experience in strategic litigation is essential, and your skills will be utilized to lead on interventions and manage live cases. Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary to build relationships with stakeholders and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment. You will be based in Edinburgh and work hybrid hours.

Salary and Benefits
