The Role

We're seeking a talented HR Generalist to join our team on a maternity cover basis for 9 months. As an HR Generalist, you'll play a critical role in supporting the full cycle of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. You'll work closely with our Head of People to ensure that our HR systems and processes are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Support the recruitment process, including coordinating interviews, reference checks, and onboarding new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive working environment by addressing employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting open communication.
  • Performance Management: Support performance appraisal processes, provide guidance on goal setting, and assist managers in employee development plans.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, maintain accurate employee records, and update HR policies as necessary.
  • Payroll: Run payroll in collaboration with Finance, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • HR Reporting: Generate reports on HR metrics, analyze data to identify trends, and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Culture and Engagement: Drive initiatives that promote employee engagement, recognition, and a strong organizational culture.
  • HR Systems: Maintain and optimize the use of HR Information Systems, and support training across the business.
  • Administration: Manage internal change letters, exit interviews, and other people-related correspondence.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in HR, preferably in a scale-up environment or SaaS.
  • Experience working in a multicultural business, ideally in a remote setup.
  • Strong experience in employment law, employee relations, and payroll management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
