We are seeking a talented and experienced Physician Assistant Educator to join our faculty at Widener University's Institute for Physician Assistant Education. As a tenure-track faculty member, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of physician assistants.

This is a 10-month position that requires a strong commitment to teaching, scholarship, and service. The successful candidate will have experience teaching foundational sciences and/or health care education, with a minimum of 3 years (5 years preferred) of academic teaching and research experience in an institution of higher education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and teach courses in the PA Program as negotiated with the Program Director
  • Ensure courses and syllabi are current and available to all students
  • Demonstrate competency in teaching as evidenced by supervisor, peer, and student evaluations
  • Participate in team and/or interdisciplinary teaching
  • Participate in curriculum development both didactic and clinical

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Earned doctoral degree from an accredited college or university
  • Academic teaching experience minimum 3 years (5 or more years preferred)

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience
