Administrative Assistant

To succeed in this role as an Administrator at Oakmoor Recruitment, you will be providing comprehensive administrative support to colleagues and clients in a fast-paced environment.
The role is a full-time, fixed-term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. Flexible office hours are available to suit, such as 8-3 or 9-4.
The Role:
As an Administrator, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including:
- Providing a first point of contact for incoming calls and emails
- Processing orders and managing administrative tasks
- Assessing and prioritizing workload, often under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Working collaboratively as part of a team and taking initiative when required
Essential Skills:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in IT systems, including Sage
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
We are looking for an experienced Administrator with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. A Level 2 Administration qualification is desirable, as is previous experience with Sage.
