NHS Scotland seeks a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Cowal & Bute area, providing expert care and support to individuals with mental health conditions.

The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, focusing on promoting independence and improving patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored intervention plans
  • To deliver high-quality psychological interventions and provide ongoing support

Applicants should hold a relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a team. A minimum of 3 years experience in a mental health setting, preferably Primary Care Mental or Community Mental Health setting, is highly desirable.

Key Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a mental health setting

This post is available on a full-time basis, but we welcome applications from part-time candidates. Salary details: £31,696 - £43,041 per annum (pro rata for part-time staff).
