As a Care Support Specialist, you will be supporting Debbie, a very sociable lady who enjoys going to the local cinema and cafes, attending church lunches and social activities, and participating in arts and crafts at home. She requires support with household tasks and needs someone to bring out the best in her.

You will have the chance to make a positive difference every day to Debbie's life, supporting her to achieve her goals and outcomes. We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and offer an extensive learning programme together with in-house career development opportunities.

As a Care Support Specialist, you will receive training on person-centred approaches, planning and thinking, introduction to autism, epilepsy awareness, moving and handling, adult and child protection, first aid, and positive behaviour support. You will also have access to health cash plans, employee assistance programmes, cycle to work schemes, season ticket loans, and blue light cards.

Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

We are an equal opportunities employer, and our recruitment process is based entirely on values, skills, and competencies required for the specific role. The successful applicant will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of their start date.
