We currently have a vacancy for an Adult Psychiatrist in our West Mental Health & Wellness Team based at Barking Community Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team of experienced professionals who share a passion for delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

**Key Responsibilities**

As an Adult Psychiatrist, your primary responsibilities will include working as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing senior medical support and guidance, and participating in the on-call rota with a 3% Category A on-call supplement. You will also work directly with adults and their families, collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies, and contribute to the development of evidence-based innovations.

**Person Specification**

The ideal candidate for this role must hold full GMC registration with a licence to practice, possess CCT or equivalent qualifications, and meet the requirements for Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it. They must also have Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it, and be included in, or eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
