About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Deputy General Manager Clinical at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care in our care homes. You will work closely with the General Manager, leading the clinical team and ensuring that residents receive the best possible care and support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure care standards are met and maintained
  • Motivate and lead the clinical team to achieve their goals
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve care delivery
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification. You should also have experience in managing residents with different health needs, as well as a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment.

Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration
  • Teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification
  • Experience in managing residents with different health needs
  • Track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship
