We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). This is a challenging and rewarding role that will provide opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Company Overview

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working closely with teachers and support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment. Our Internal Alternative Provision is a small and caring facility for children who require further support to access mainstream lessons effectively.

With a focus on Restorative Practice, we have established ourselves as a leader in this field, providing exceptional support to students with SEND / SEMH and emerging issues related to social, emotional or behavioural needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our dynamic team and contribute to the development of our provision within this new resource base.

  • A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Supporting students with SEND / SEMH and emerging issues related to social, emotional or behavioural needs
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop Restorative Practice initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area (e.g., English, Maths, or Special Educational Needs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
