We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Gynaecology Outpatient department at Pilgrim Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our vision.
Main Responsibilities- Assist in general Gynaecology clinics and specialist procedure clinics, ensuring patient privacy and dignity are maintained.
- Act as a patient advocate, demonstrating good leadership skills and adaptability in a changing environment.
- Develop and maintain effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the trust-wide service, prioritizing workload and managing complex situations.
- Evidence key values and behaviours in line with the Trust framework: Patient Centred, Safety, Compassion, Respect, Excellence.
- Currently live on NMC register.
- Degree level nursing or equivalent.
- Nursing mentor live on NMC register.
- Previous experience in a Gynaecology setting, with a focus on patient-centred care.
- Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Awareness and knowledge of the dignity in care agenda.
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
