Job Title: Ward Sister/Charge Nurse, Respiratory Medicine

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to lead our Respiratory Medicine team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. They will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of nurses, and implementing effective change management strategies.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining safe working practices. They will also be committed to their own professional development and have a passion for delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with respiratory conditions
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver excellent patient care
  • Implement and manage effective change management strategies
  • Establish and maintain effective professional networking relationships with the multi-professional team
  • Take operational responsibility for the effective utilisation of resources

Requirements:

  • RGN level 1 with minimum 2 years' experience
  • Evidence of professional development
  • Teaching and assessing qualification
  • Educated to degree level or willing to undertake; equivalent experience considered
  • Experience in NIV
