About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Redruth. As a Support Worker for Children with Complex Needs, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to a young client in their family home.

About the Client

The client is a 10-year-old boy who enjoys the outdoors and loves stories, music, and rhymes. He has a limited vocabulary and interacts on his own terms. As a Support Worker, you will work closely with the family to create a safe and nurturing environment that meets the client's unique needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to the client in the evening, including medication management and moving and handling
  • Monitor and support the client's physical and emotional well-being
  • Work collaboratively with the family and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

Requirements

  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Previous experience working with children with complex needs is desirable
  • Kind and caring nature, flexibility, and good communication skills are essential
