Data Warehouse Project Manager

Venn Group is seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Project Manager to lead the delivery of our EPR data warehouse strategy. As a key member of our EPR Business Intelligence Team, you will be responsible for managing a team of developers and ensuring the successful implementation of our data warehouse and reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the EPR Data Warehouse Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive data warehouse strategy that aligns with our business objectives and meets the needs of our stakeholders.
- Manage the Data Warehouse Team: Lead a team of developers and ensure the successful delivery of data warehouse and reporting projects.
- Ensure Data Quality and Compliance: Oversee the development and implementation of data quality and compliance processes to ensure maximum accuracy and adherence to NHS data dictionary and rules.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and Implement Reporting Solutions: Design and implement reporting solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders and align with our business objectives.
- Ensure Timely Delivery and Coordination: Ensure that multiple and cross-system reports/extracts are delivered on time and accurately reflect business requirements.
- Support the Development of EPR Report Design Templates and Methodology: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement EPR report design templates and methodology.
- Lead Audits and Quality Assurance: Lead audits to review the development process and ensure that it aligns with the EPR report design methodology.
- Manage Data Quality Issues: Identify and manage potential data quality issues and work with stakeholders to mitigate these.
- Ensure Documentation and Security: Ensure that documentation for projects, deliverables, and report specifications are created and maintained in line with program progress, and implement and manage EPR reporting tools security and access models.
- Lead Problem-Solving and Innovation: Lead the team in solving complex problems and challenges in the front-end or data warehouse build that have previously not been encountered by Meditech in the development of statutory and contractual returns.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in data warehousing, SQL Server Management Studio, and data architecture.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team of developers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders across the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Knowledge of NHS data dictionary and rules, and experience in implementing data quality and compliance processes.
