About the Role:
Nigel Wright Recruitment is pleased to be working with a leading manufacturing client to find a European Distribution Sales Manager. The company is a complex component manufacturer with a strong presence in the UK and internationally, with significant revenue streams from the US and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the UK and European sales function, overseeing both external sales teams.
- Drive growth in the European market through strategic distributor relationships and sales performance.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to drive business growth and profitability.
- Manage and develop a high-performing sales team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure success.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in setting up and driving distributor relationships and sales performance in Europe.
- Strong sector knowledge in a technically manufactured product or component environment.
- A track record of driving profitable growth across a European market.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong IT competence in Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable with European-wide travel and regular travel to the North East HQ as required.
