Network Administrator Role:

Searchability® is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join their IT Team. The successful candidate will engage in a wide range of challenging projects, including federated data and distributed data for employees at rugged terminals. The Network Administrator will predominantly provide UK support, with some US support.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain computer networks and systems, including software, mainframes, firewall, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware. Ensure our cyber security is working effectively, and that all audits are up to date and accurate to maintain our accreditation. Install and configure network equipment to update or fix hardware and / or software issues. Update virus protection software to keep data and communications protected. Monitor computer systems to efficiently improve network performance and ensure network security. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including hardware and software configuration problems. Define network policies and procedures and ensure compliance. Assist in the training / cross-training of junior staff members.

Requirements:
Degree or similar in a computer related subject, or equivalent experience. CCNA certification and / or FortiNet NSE level 4 with knowledge of FortiSwitch. Proven experience in network administration, including networking, routing, and switching. Experience with firewalls such as Fortinet / FortiGate, VPNs, and remote implementation. Experience in cyber security, with keen attention to detail. Experience of federated data and distributed data would be an advantage.
