About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Control Automation System Engineer to join our North Europe Grid System Integration (GSI) team.

This is a key role within our team, responsible for leading the design, implementation, and development of digital control systems for high voltage DC transmission projects.

Key Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

  • Lead the requirement, design, implementation, and testing of digital control systems for HVDC Control & Protection systems.
  • Configure IEC61850 IED's and System Configuration Tools for complete system integration.
  • Generate Substation Configuration description Language (SCL) files for system integration.
  • Design and configure LAN networks/Communication Architectures and configuration of industrial ethernet switches/routers and satellite clocks.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with excellent background in configuring Substation Bay Controllers / Merging Units / IEC61850 IED's / HMI / SCADA technologies.
