Job Requirements:

As a Senior Control Systems Engineer at Dabster, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of event and rate driven application software for control and protection systems. You will work closely with the team to promote Agile Software development practices and lead team members on Git, Jira and Confluence for version control, task/defect management and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design and development of event and rate driven application software for control and protection systems.
  • Promote Agile Software development practices within the team.
  • Lead team members on Git, Jira and Confluence for version control, task/defect management and documentation.
  • Competent on functional characteristics of power systems and interactions between AC and HVDC systems.
  • Knowledge of PSCAD and competent using MATLAB-SIMULINK simulation tools.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and can-do attitude.

Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree in Computer Science or power systems and power electronics subjects or proven equivalent knowledge and experience in HVDC business.
